Economic Benefits to Community

The proposed project constitutes a significant investment into the local community (~ $150 million) and allows for a sustainable long-term tax revenue to applicable taxing jurisdictions including:

• Goliad County
• Goliad Independent School District
• San Antonio River Authority, and
• Goliad County Groundwater Conservation District.

Over its useful life, the project is anticipated to contribute more than $15M in tax revenue to the applicable tax districts within the community.

During construction, the project will have positive direct and indirect impacts on the community including job creation and higher spending induced by the work force and supply chain purchases.

During operations, the project is a quiet neighbor requiring limited local resources or services with minimal impacts to local infrastructure.
